about me!!!

Hello! I'm Nonsenze (sometimes called Nonny as a nickname), the name I go by for the past 10 years. The name is a shortened version of my original online nickname "GeneralNonsenze", created from an inspiring moment after watching the Minecraft Youtuber "CaptainSparklez". "CaptainSparklez", "GeneralNonsenze", I liked the little play on words. Something to be generally nonsense, but also a reference to the General rank in a Military sense. Nonsenze seems to suit me better though, easier to remember as well. The first name I ever picked for the internet was something so simple yet with so many embarassing moments that I'd rather leave that in the past with 9 year old me hahaha.

muuuusic

I'm mainly a music producer. I've been making music for the past 10 years, but I started releasing it bit by bit 7 years ago to show one my best friend the stuff I was making.

Some of my favorite stuff I've ever made is from my "Lock.In." album, especially Autosave. My good friend G0jo played a DJ set and included two of my songs from that album, the moment I heard my music being played by someone else was an experience that I want to keep locked in my memories so it never dissapates. I typically make whatever I'm feeling at the time or whatever genre I'm into. Who knows, maybe in a couple years I'll be composing a full 9 minute epic orchestral piece... or a 2m hyper-pop banger that finally destroys my aging computer.

vrchatttt

VRChat is probably where you'll know me from. I started playing VRChat in 2021, my interest spiked after being so enthralled in my newly acquired Rift S Headset but being bored of every other game I played at the time. I tried getting my friend Josh to play, but with him moving to Vietnam the plan didn't work out. I was a really socially anxious man, so I had to push myself to interact and socialize with people in the VR space. I first went to "Ancients of VRChat", a SFW 18+ group that hosts thousands of people. There, I made my first few friends who I still talk with to this day. I remember feeling the nerves and the anxiety when I went to my first event, but I'm very much glad I didn't pussy out and deny going. My life outside of the VR space has gotten much better as a result of VR, and it allowed me to see my best friend in a vague physical form due to us living millions of miles apart. I make VRChat worlds, custom avatars and socialize with people within VRChat, and while I'm not playing it as much as I was a couple years ago, I still enjoy the experience and the people.
